Anyone remember the scene where James T. Kirk and Sulu dive onto the top of the Romulan's planetary drill from their space shuttle as Captain Pike is on his way over to talk to the bad guys? (New Star Trek movie, not the old ones - although I love all of them, too.)
I though it looked completely insane and like something so far beyond our current tech I woudln't see it in this lifetime.
Not only is it in this lifetime, it already happened. Wow. I don't even know what to say. This guy jumped from 71,500 feet and was in free fall for eight minutes. He's planning an even higher jump soon.
Good luck.

I love weird science, the paranormal, anything sci-fi, and - when I'm not reading, writing, or sleeping - I binge watching my favorite TV shows. My brilliant children have now ruined my brain with Japanese Anime. Am I addicted? Maybe. Sign up for my New Release Alerts here: http://goo.gl/C7yldi
